Scouts learn the value of helping their community.
We do everything from small acts as Individuals to larger service projects as a Troop or with other Scouts from across the Annapolis area.

March 8th, 2026 - St. Patrick's Day Parade Annapolis. Scouts from Troop 815 along with Troop 396 Annapolis, marched and help give support to veterans in the Annapolis St. Patrick's Day Parade. Scouts were requested to serve by "Warrior Events" and dress as toy soldiers similar to those in 'Toy Story' in honor of veterans and gold star families. Scout enthusiastically marched to a drum and occasionally stopped and posed to a whistle blast which thrilled the crowd. Though there was some early rain in the morning, this cleared before the parade and turned to a be beautiful day as the last of the snow melts. Very proud of the enthusiasm showed by all of our Scouts. One of our newest Scouts who wasn't scheduled to costume was enviously looking at the props and I was very proud one of his older peers gracious gave up his costume so they could march as one of the toy soldiers. True Scout Spirit!
